Community guidelines
QuantForum exists to be a place traders can trust. These rules are short on purpose — they are enforced seriously.
1.Be real
Post your own experience. If you tested something, say how. If you are guessing, say that too. Accounts that pretend to be multiple people, or that role-play as satisfied customers, are banned.
2.Disclose affiliations
If you work for, are paid by, or have any financial relationship with a tool, broker, or service you mention, say so clearly in the post itself. Undisclosed promotion is the fastest way to lose your account here.
3.No financial advice
Discuss systems, methods, and measurements — never tell anyone what to buy, sell, or how much to risk. Nothing on this site is investment advice.
4.No spam or drive-by promotion
Links are fine when they genuinely answer the question. First posts that exist only to drop a link, referral codes, and copy-pasted promos are removed. Repeat offenders are banned.
5.No fake reviews
Never post a review of something you have not used. Never coordinate positive or negative reviews. Suspected astroturfing is investigated and removed, and we say so publicly when it happens.
6.Criticism is welcome — with evidence
Negative experiences stay up and are valuable. But attack the product or the argument, not the person. Slurs, harassment, and doxxing get an instant permanent ban.
7.Respect the numbers
When you post performance claims, include the context: live or demo, period, broker, sample size. A screenshot of one good month is marketing, not evidence.
Breaking these rules can mean post removal, a warning, or a ban, at moderator discretion. Decisions can be appealed via the contact address on the about page.
