Learned this the expensive way too (English, hope that's ok). My kill-switch EA checks equity against the balance high-water mark every tick. Two tiers: at -10% from the high it blocks all new entries but lets exits run; at -15% it flattens everything and disables autotrading until I manually re-arm it.
The two-tier part matters: a blind flatten-all during a news spike realizes the worst possible prices in the spread blowout. Blocking entries first usually lets the account de-risk on its own exits.
